Kimberly Stuckwisch is an award-winning film, commercial, theatre, and music video director and writer whose work blends magical realism with everyday life. She built a career as a vocal supporter of bold creative ideas, with her work often bringing awareness to timely social issues and breaking conventional expectations. Her works have showcased at Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, Camerimage, SXSW, Ciclope, The Clios, Kinsale, The UKMVA’s, The Berlin Commercial Awards, The Hammer Museum, The Public Theatre, ABC, MTV, and in theaters across the world.

By the age of 26, Kimberly had assistant directed over a dozen indie films, calling this her “film school” and second unit directed numerous films including REMARKABLE POWER with Evan Peters, Tom Arnold, and Kevin Nealon, PLAY THE GAME with Andy Griffith, Doris Roberts, and Liz Sheridan, and THE DEADLINE with Brittany Murphy and Thora Birch.

Kimberly exploded onto the directorial scene in 2020 with music videos for Margo Price (Best New Artist Grammy Nominee) and Jeremy Ivey which competed at SXSW, the 1.4 Awards, and won a UKMVA “Best Rock Video-Newcomer” award. Her clip for Samm Henshaw’s “The World Is Mine” received Gold for Best International Music Video at the Kinsale Shark Awards and competed at the MVPAs. She directed Broken Bells, “Good Luck” which won the New Generation Award at the Berlin Commercial Awards, was in competition at Camerimage 2020 and Shots Awards 2021 for “Best Music Video,” was shortlisted for a 2020 UKMVA, and won two bronze Clios for “Best Music Video” and “Direction.” Her music video for Pearl Derringer "Little Baby ft. Margo Price" won Best Music Video at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and LA Femme International Film Festival, was shortlisted at the 1.4 Awards, and competed in the 2023 SXSW Music Video competition.

She directed Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR PROM a 27-minute concert film that garnered over 11 Million views in two weeks and was #1 trending worldwide on YouTube and VEVO. SOUR PROM was nominated for “Best Special Video Project” at the UKMVA’S and was shortlisted for a Young Director's Award. Kimberly’s 28 minute short film for Angel Olsen’s album Big Time was a semi-finalist at Cannes Indie Shorts Awards.

Kimberly made her commercial debut with a campaign for SkinnyPop and 360i, a K-pop inspired ode to our golden age of stay-at-home snacking. The campaign earned her a place in SHOOT’s New Directors Showcase and on the longlist for the 1.4 Awards. Most recently, she directed the campaign film for Bose's “Turn the Dial,” an initiative that seeks to close gender gap in music production, featuring H.E.R., PinkPantheress, BLOND:ISH and WondaGurl.On the fashion front, she co-directed Jeremy Scott’s FW21 Moschino Fashion Film JUNGLE RED as well as Moschino’s SS22 Musical LIGHTNING STRIKES starring Karen Elson.

She was shortlisted at the 2021 Shots Awards for “New Director of the Year,” and the MVPA’s for “Best New Director.” She's served as a juror for the Clios as well as SXSW. She is currently in pre-production on her second feature THE PERFECT GIRL with Artina Films. Her first feature CANVAS premiered at Cinequest 2024 and is currently on the festival circuit.
